Report a seller

Tell us about a car, truck, tractor or equipment seller who took your money or tried to. A moderator reads every report before it appears on the site, usually within a day or two.

Just sent the money? Do this first.

  1. Call your bank now and ask for a wire recall or a fraud claim. With Zelle, card or PayPal payments, ask for a dispute or chargeback. Hours matter.
  2. File with the authorities: the FTC and the FBI's IC3. Outside the US, contact your local police and national fraud centre.
  3. Then come back and file here so other buyers are warned.

Write only what you know first-hand. Please don't include your bank account numbers, and don't name private individuals who aren't part of the scam. See our corrections policy.

Who took your money

The name on the listing, invoice or website — even if you now think it was fake.

The most useful detail you can give us. Scammers change names, not phones.

One star means they took your money and delivered nothing.

How you found them, what they told you, what you paid and when, and what happened after. Dates and amounts help us most.

Leave blank if you didn't lose money.

Screenshots of the listing, chats, invoices or payment receipts. Up to 5 files, 10 MB each (PNG, JPG, WEBP, GIF, PDF). Files stay private unless a moderator decides to show them. Cover your account numbers first.
